It all started in 1971 when a young couple, Ray & Shelley Salmon, renowned for their dancing demonstrations, decided to open up a dance studio.
At the time it was titled "Rai-Shells Dance Centre" later to be renamed to the current "Danceland Ballroom".
Today it is one of the top dance studios on the Gold Coast known for producing some of Australia's greatest dancers.
Pupils of any age can learn to dance at Danceland Ballroom.
You can attend classes by yourself or you can bring a partner or friend to learn with you.
You can participate in as many classes per week as you desire which allows you to learn at your own pace.
Danceland offers classes in Ballroom, Latin, New Vogue, Ballet, Tap and Jazz. Please visit the Classes tab on the left for our timetable and prices and feel free to contact any member of the Danceland team via the Contact page.
