Great News, Rhett Salmon & April McMahon have gone back to England for a short time to compete in the Blackpool World Championships, they made the top 48 couples in the world last year and this year are going to try make the top 24. Lets all get behind them.

Happy New Year to all Danceland dancers! Danceland welcomed in 2009 by having a fantastic New Years Eve Dance Party and BBQ at the studio which was enjoyed by all. This was a new concept that we have never tried before and it was sure a hit with all who attended! A big thank you to everyone for coming along to support the evening and we look forward to seeing you at many more Danceland events throughout the year.

Speaking of events… the first official Cabaret night of 2009 will be held on Saturday February 7th, commencing at 8pm NSW time. We are very excited to announce that Rhett Salmon and April McMahon will be performing a live floor show for all in attendance! We are really looking forward to seeing them perform at our Cabaret so make sure you put this date in your diary!

The end of 2008 saw some fantastic results from our competition couples. Congratulations to all of you!

With New Year resolutions going through our minds, why not try a new Danceland class this year to get some more dances under your repertoire? We look forward to seeing each and every one of you in the near future and welcoming you back to Danceland for what is going to be an exciting 2009!

Thank you SO much to everyone who attended the first Danceland Group Workshop Sunday afternoon. This event was a huge success with 27 people showing up to improve their knowledge and dancing.
It was also an incredible honor to have many times World Champions Anthony and Fay Hurley come to enjoy this fantastic afternoon of lectures.
